Wound Treatment Center staff completes Master Caster Program

ALPENA — Staff at the Wound Treatment Center at My Michigan Medical Center Alpena completed a program titled the Master Caster Program. Completing this program will allow staff to heal diabetic foot ulcers quicker.

Tammy Ruemenapp, program director of the Wound Treatment Center, said the staff's goal is to heal patients as efficiently as possible.

"By providing our wound care team with this valuable training," Ruemenapp said. "We will be able to create an even better patient experience, while having the opportunity to heal more diabetic foot ulcers."
